  25. You do surprise me.  I use the ioExtender:- had it almost 2 years and no
  26. problems.  I don't have gvpser.device in devs:  nor anywhere on my hard
  27. drive.  I just did a search for it.  As far as I know, it's in a chip on
  28. the card.

  30. I expect you do have gvpio in your 'Expansion' drawer, and "BindDrivers"
  31. in your startup-sequence?  There's GVPIOcontrol in Workbench Prefs, also.
  32. Have you tried just specifying the device in your GVPIOcontrol prefs and
  33. see if there's any complaint?

  35. If you have a system monitor, like ARTM, it should see gvpser.device
  36. and also gvppar.device. Sysinfo should also show them if you click on
  37. the cycle gadget at the top (currently showing 'Libraries').

  39. One thing you might try, in desparation, is moving the card to another
  40. slot.  GVP cards are notorious for being position conscious.  (They have
  41. other problems also, like some refusing to work with other GVP cards also
  42. mounted.)
